Protein soft serve ice cream made in a blender

My girlfriend and I are getting #skinnyforVegas and have been trying new low-calorie, high-protein recipes lately. This healthy soft serve is SUPER easy to make. I’m sure you’ve seen that everyone’s obsessed with the Ninja Creami, but this recipe only requires a blender. I’ll be using BPN milk & cookies whey protein, but you can sub in any protein you like. I prefer BPN protein powder because it mixes well and isn’t chalky (it’s worth the extra $$, trust me). Try their unflavored collagen or whey protein if you prefer the homemade vanilla flavor of the condensed milk.

I follow an “if it fits your macros” (IIFYM) approach to dieting, and this is an easy recipe for tracking calories. I also use a food scale to make sure I’m tracking accurately. It probably won’t completely replace your late-night Sonic runs, but it’ll do when your cravings are trying to ruin your summer bod. Thank me later 🤝🏼.

Macros for over one pint of ice cream 🤯: 370 calories, 2 g fat, 39 g carbs, 49 g protein

Ingredients:

12 fl oz fat-free condensed milk 🥛

50 g powdered sugar substitute

2 tsp vanilla extract

1 serving protein powder 💪🏼 (flavor of your choice)

Directions:

  1. Mix together the condensed milk, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract

  2. Pour the mixture into a zip-loc freezer bag and freeze overnight

  3. Break the frozen mixture into smaller chunks and place them in the blender

  4. Add protein powder and blend

This thing is FILLING. The protein powder is optional, and you’ll still get 24 g of protein without it. If you prefer a shake, add milk before blending until you get the desired consistency. Enjoy!
